Fellow painter and friend Helene and I went to a Salon last night at Gilles Larrain’s Studio. The evening was an eclectic mix of figure drawing, performance art, music and socializing. Helene and I did get a little drawing in, which was challenging with so much spectacle going on around us.

December 6th, 2009
The Screwball Spaces Holiday Art show and party was last night. I didn’t tell anyone about it because I didn’t attend myself, but a some of my paintings were there….and a couple of them sold. Merry Christmas to me.
They are little plein air paintings I did on the Hudson River this past summer.

Edie Nadelhaft mentioned in the NYTimes.
August 2nd, 2009
