I actually had a hard time with this one the first time, so went out a second time to work on it. It’s better, but it might go out for a third time.

Plein Air: First Time out

First time out with the new rig…the EASyL Lite from Artwork Essentials. It was a pretty successful outing considering it took me two days to get out of the house.

The Great Pop Up Art Sale

Night at the Salon

Fellow painter and friend Helene and I went to a Salon last night at Gilles Larrain’s Studio. The evening was an eclectic mix of figure drawing, performance art, music and socializing. Helene and I did get a little drawing in, which was challenging with so much spectacle going on around us.

Painting Class Holiday Party

With the holiday season come the holiday parties and the Art Students League will not be denied. We took a little time out from our painting class to enjoy lunch, a little wine and each others company.
